The CBC & World Beer Cup

Two of the biggest beer related events of the year are coming to Chicago this week: Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) and the World Beer Cup.  So get ready to drink darn good beer!  This is the first year that the World Beer Cup takes place in Chicago and BeerBin.com will be on hand for this monumental occasion.  As many Beer Fans and Brewers will tell you, the World Beer Cup is "The Olympics of Beer Competition."  The contest is held every two years and in 2008, there were 2,864 beers entered into this prestigious competition.  For the 2010 World Beer Cup, an estimated 3,400 beers will be judged!

Some of the 2010 CBC & World Beer Cup events are restricted to breweries and brewing industry members.  Events such as the Welcome Reception at the Field Museum on Wednesday, April 7th, and the World Beer Cup Gala Awards Dinner on Saturday, April 10^th, are sold out.  However, the fun tasting events are open to the public and are spread out across Chicago area bars.  For a complete list of Public Events sponsored by the host distributor of the 2010 CBC, Windy City Distribution Company, please visit http://craftbrewersconference.com/public_events.html.
