The 1st Chicago Craft Beer Week

Brace yourself; the 1st Annual Chicago Craft Beer Week begins on Monday, May 17th, 2010.  It is a citywide event with the intention of promoting craft beers from Illinois and beyond.  Many local breweries, bars, restaurants, beer distributors and sponsors are organizing what should be a memorable event.  There are going to be fantastic beer dinners, rare beer tastings and plenty of happy people.  Coincidentally, the Chicago Craft Beer week runs parallel with American Craft Beer Week.  The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild (ICBG) wanted to put some "Windy City Spin" on American Craft Beer Week and thus Chicago Craft Beer Week was born!  Both events, American Craft Beer Week and Chicago Craft Beer Week, are held from May 17th - 23rd, 2010.
